toes stepping

people say lotsa politics in working life... i think i came to realise the truth of the statement... some people are just damn irresponsible, shrink from duties and wanna claim credit for the job done... i cant imagine people like that existing... totally abhor people like that... shan't mention names... but sorry man, you stepped on my toes and i am freaking pissed about it.... just too bad for you i guess, you ended up in my bad books...

the class is getting more and more fun... outings, cookouts, ktv and some bbq and drinking sessions are coming up... hope the class gets closer... cos the time to part is drawing nearer... exams soon... gosh... time to start studying again...

i am still suppose to lose weight...
bad weekend, cos its 2 weeks in a row without soccer... i'm dying... better go jogging later...

Working life....

actually there isnt much to blog about... cos first day of work was actually last week.. 12th july... tmr will officially be 1 week at work... its been a whirlwind so far... the things that we have to pick up, the expectations and responsibility that comes along with it as a fully grown up adult, no longer being able to get away with things like in school.. and company culture, and different people you meet everyday... the feeling is entirely different.

its been lessons all the way so far, pretty much like tutorials in class, more will come in the future days... class has been pretty fun so far, but people can be more enthusiastic still... maybe its the first week tts why... hopefully people will get more opened up and the outings will follow... outings has been met with lukewarm response so far...

but 4 months is gonna come and pass quickly... hopefully we wun regret missing out on every single moments. 19 people in class, 4 guys only, me and thams are the only chinese, charles is a scot-singaporean and there's julian from msia. 15 girls, 6 from PRC.. really very nice people, warm and witty... and remaining 9 are girls... already, roughly can see who the people we are closer to already... people like cara, carina, anthea, thams and me are more or less hanging out together most of the time...

i can see why the working people dun wanna go out after work anymore, its seriously pretty tiring... sigh... more to come i suppose... will update again soon...

Convocation 070707

just came back from convocation... eunice olsen was the guest of honour... being a arts graduate herself back in 2001. convocation was better than expected, i had expected that it would have been a totally boring affair none more gratifying an occasion for parents to enjoy. but i think it was special because friends whom i didnt expect to see there turned up. people like seng, zhiwei, daniel, dexter, alvin, andre, hongwei, qingyue. jerald, danlin and leonard were graduating with hons, when i was only expecting xiwen, jamie, yaoxiang, jingting, luke cos we are graduating together...

whats more special is that although a lot of couple are rushing to get registered for marriage today, i am graduating on this special date of 070707 itself. none more special than dad and mum turning up for the ceremony, despite the broken family that i am from. think individually, they were happy for me, but both uncomfortable in each other's presence... but i am happy that they managed to turn up on my account.

took quite a few photos... but the awkwardness prompted me to leave sooner than i wished to... i had more photos to take actually... but oh well... becca and weizhen din manage to turn up... but we are still meeting up on tues for dinner... becca, weizhen, jingting and me... next year will be their convocation... together with vivian... i shud try to make time to come... by right, i should have been graduating next year anyway...

this spells the end of my school life... bye NUS... bye Eusoff... bye Arts... thanks for all the fond and sweet memories for the past 3 years...
