Birthday...
peaceful birthday i would say.. something which i like... if i dont have a gf... which i really dun have anyway... spending the day out with my friends...
starting off is having lunch with jer-babe... i miss her.. long time since i saw her.. not since her birthday last year i guess... had lunch with her at cineleisure... its more of catching up than anything else... still enjoying each other's company i guess... after that was just wondering around town area until cara and anthea showed up.. edmund came along too... we went to nydc at heeren... near adrian's office.. so he was able to pop by once in a while... spent the rest of the afternoon lazing there.. catching... desserting... mealing... chatting.. until dinner time... where its time for them to have some couple time... parted with them since... while they went off for movies... and me.. came home for dinner... simple birthday celebrations which i appreciate a lot.. cos they got me a cake and sang me a damn loud birthday song in the middle of orchard road... not bad for an old man i guess...
not forgetting the many many well wishes from other friends... thanks for remembering my birthday guys... i guess when u grow older.. friends become more precious... true for my case at least...
*was flipping through the papers just now when i came across 2 articles written in by 2 singaporeans... one was commenting about the 24 hours service of the petrol stations in singapore, stating that spore is so small.. and plenty of petrol stations ard.. there is no need for every one of them to be opened 24 hours.. which can cut down on a lot of resources... think that was something really observant and well pointed out... u made a point there mr. singaporean
the other article.. which took up an entire page.. was a guy who was complaining that the telecast of the aussie open finals being disrupted by another tv program. which he thought was a damn big issue that he wrote in to give in his 50 dollars worth... c'mon man... the whole world is worried about global warming and increasing crimes and violence and so many other issues... but you only wrote in to complain about your tv program? the shallowness of some singaporeans... time to wake up man... take a look at the world around you and the living conditions of the poor people overseas... they dont even know whats a tv... get a life dude!!!
so much for a birthday post... hehz...
